Bridge Team Paints Teaching Structure

November 2nd, 2014 –

IMG_2267[1]The structure between Butler Carlton Hall and Emerson Electric Co. has been quite the eyesore for students on their way to classes. Steel bridge leaders wrote a proposal to the CArE department to see if the team could brighten the structure up and repaint it. The proposal was accepted by the department and the team organized a large group of bridge members together to put some Miner Spirit on the sculpture. Thanks to the efforts of the bridge crew, the finished product stands out in bright green and gold color. This new paint job will surely create a better impression on prospective students and at the very least brighten up the day of current students who are walking to their classes.
